About the Business
Founded by mother and son team Gill Ib and Nicholas Ib, Chapel Place Gallery represents work by modern and contemporary artists in a range of media, and aims to set a new standard for galleries in Tunbridge Wells. The diverse and eclectic range of work on display represents the passions and interests they have developed through their own collecting over several years.
Curator and director Gill Ib recently moved to Tunbridge Wells from Aldeburgh in Suffolk, where she had enjoyed associations with several successful galleries and artists. Through the gallery she aims to showcase work she is passionate about, including work by artists associated with the St Ives modern period, and her passion for vintage and contemporary Italian glass.
